HAGEBAU

hagebau – strong together in distribution

hagebau is one of Europe's leading distribution cooperatives. Since 1964, medium-sized entrepreneurs from the specialist and retail sectors have joined forces under the hagebau umbrella in order to be stronger together, whether in purchasing, distribution, or digital development. Today, the cooperative has around 350 members with more than 1,500 sales outlets in six countries.

In the retail sector, hagebau is one of the largest players in the DIY and gardening sector in Germany, Austria, and Luxembourg thanks to its hagebaumarkt, hagebau kompakt, and FLORALAND formats. Clear concepts, a harmonized visual identity, and reliable processes form the basis for a strong visual identity for our partners.

Our formats :

hagebaumarkt
Modern DIY and gardening stores with a wide range of products and a consistent, successful brand concept.

hagebau kompakt
The local format for rural and urban areas. Close to the customer, compact, with a clear focus on everyday DIY needs.

FLORALAND
The modular garden center concept from hagebau: freely combinable, with clearly defined modules dedicated to gardening, the outdoors, and plants.

Together, we can do it

As a cooperative, hagebau combines the entrepreneurial diversity of its partners with the strength of a joint organization. Reliable structures, clear concepts, and an efficient network form the basis for sustainable distribution in both the specialist and retail sectors.

As a co-founder of the ARENA alliance, we work closely with European and Canadian partners to achieve better conditions, efficient processes, and a competitive product range. Together, we are driving forward the future of distribution.
